The professional genome is tomorrow’s résumé today. It showcases your experience, skills, interests, behavioral traits, psychometrics, recommendations, connections, reference checks, portfolio, and more in an engaging and attractive way.
Click on your avatar/profile picture in the top-right corner of the Torre.ai dashboard, then click on your name (shown below 'Your professional genome'), or go directly to: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
To enhance your professional genome, click the 'ENHANCE YOUR GENOME' button at the bottom of your profile page. This will guide you through steps to make your profile more complete and attractive to potential employers. Note: The button won’t appear if your profile is already complete.
Keeping your genome complete and up-to-date increases your chances of being matched with the most relevant job opportunities.
The psychometrics section shows the results of a person’s psychometric test. These tests evaluate their personality, cognitive abilities, and work style, helping to understand how they think, feel, and behave in the workplace. This information helps identify your compatibility with a team and the company culture, facilitating better matches for both candidates and companies. Learn more here: https://torre.ai/psychometrics
You can improve the accuracy of your behavioral traits in two ways:
It depends on what you want to update. For notification settings and search engine visibility, go to the 'Preferences' page: https://torre.ai/preferences. For job-related preferences — job type, compensation, location, language, and organization size — go to the 'Find jobs' section: https://torre.ai/app/search-job. There, you can either describe the change you want in the 'Refine your search with AI' box, or edit each filter manually by clicking its pencil icon.
Go to the 'Find jobs' section: https://torre.ai/app/search-job. 2. Under 'You're interested in:', find the 'Base compensation' filter and click its pencil icon. 3. In the 'Choose opportunities of interest' window, check the types you're open to: Full-time, Flexible work (part-time, consultant, freelance, or on-demand), or Internship. 4. Click 'COMPLETED' to save your changes. You can also just type it into the 'Refine your search with AI' box at the top of the page, e.g. "I'm open to freelance work too," and the filters update automatically..
Go to the 'Find jobs' section: https://torre.ai/app/search-job. 2. Under 'You're interested in:', find the 'Base compensation' filter and click its pencil icon. 3. For each opportunity type you've checked (Full-time, Flexible work, Internship), you'll see a 'Minimum desired compensation' field where you can: choose your preferred payment period (per year, per month, per hour), select your currency, enter your minimum desired amount, and indicate if you're open to additional benefits like commissions or equity. 4. Click 'COMPLETED' to save your changes.
The more specific and detailed your preferences are, the more tailored and accurate your job recommendations will be.
It means your professional genome (profile) can appear in search engines like Google, allowing recruiters and employers to discover you more easily.
Yes. You can check the option 'Remove genome from search engines' on the 'Preferences' page to hide your profile from public search results. Note: Torre.ai automatically sends a removal request to search engines, but it may take several days for them to process it.
Keeping your genome visible increases your chances of being found by recruiters and receiving more job opportunities.
Your profile will no longer appear in public search results. Only people with direct access to your profile link will be able to view it.
Yes. You can update your search engine visibility preference anytime in the 'Preferences' page.
The cultural fit questionnaire is a tool designed to analyze behavioral traits. Its main purpose is to help compare candidates with organizations or specific jobs to determine cultural fit. It's also used to discover behavioral similarities and differences between people.
The questionnaire consists of questions that evaluate 40 professional behavioral traits and takes about 5 minutes to complete. You, as the candidate, answer a self-assessment, and you can also invite friends or family to answer as observers for a more comprehensive result.
While there isn't a dedicated section to upload certificates directly, you can easily add them by linking them to the relevant experience on your professional genome. Here's how:
Torre.ai doesn’t include a specific option to select countries for remote jobs. Instead, our algorithm detects your location and matches jobs based on your preferences (remote, hybrid, on-site). If a company is open to hiring remotely from your country or timezone, you’ll be notified. To explore roles in other countries, go to the 'Search jobs' section: https://torre.ai/search/jobs and filter by 'Only remote'.
Currently, it’s not possible to link or sync your Torre.ai account directly with LinkedIn. However, you can import your work and educational experience from LinkedIn into your professional genome. To do so, follow these steps:
It only takes ~5 minutes.
You can share your professional goals and objectives in the 'About' section of your genome, as part of your professional summary. Access your genome here: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
To have someone verify your work experience, follow these steps:
You must do this directly from your Google account. Follow these steps:
Candidates cannot see your personal contact information, such as your email address or phone number. However, they can view your professional genome, which helps them learn more about the person hiring. To see how your genome appears to others, turn on 'Preview' mode by clicking the switch in the top-right corner.
To update the information in your professional genome, you will need to do it manually by following these steps:
Your skills are identified automatically from the information in your Professional Genome — our AI analyzes your work experience and assigns each skill the proficiency level that best matches your years of experience. If you think a skill is missing or wasn't recognized correctly, update your work experience descriptions in the 'Résumé' section to be as clear and detailed as possible, since this helps the system identify additional skills and assign them the right proficiency level. Access your genome here: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
Yes. Torre supports many currencies, not just USD, so you do not need to convert anything. In the 'Minimum desired compensation' field, use the currency selector to choose your currency (for example CLP, COP, MXN, ARS, BRL or EUR), then enter the amount you want to earn in that currency. You can also choose the payment period: per year, per month or per hour for full-time roles, per hour for flexible work, and per month for internships.
We combine 9 types of AI to evaluate 112 factors per candidate and job, including hard and soft skills, experience, psychometrics, culture fit, location, and more, generating a compatibility score from 0 to 100%. It's also completely transparent and bias-free: the match score is calculated with 0% bias by name, gender, age, or race, and it's the exact same score candidates and companies see.
Verification isn't required to have a Torre profile. We ask you to verify specific experiences when they matter for a job you applied to, so your profile is more credible to recruiters. If you don't have anyone who can verify an experience, it’s ok.
Anyone who worked with you in that experience and can confirm what you did: a manager, a coworker, or a client. They don't need to still work at the company, and the company doesn't need to still exist. If the experience was freelance work or your own business, ask a client to verify it. You can't verify your own experience. To send the request, share the person's name and email here. Their LinkedIn profile is optional.
We send your verifier an email with a link to a short set of questions about your experience. To answer, they create a basic account that is used only for this verification. Torre won't contact them in the future because of it. We recommend telling your verifier in advance so they recognize the email and answer quickly.
A verification is a third party confirming that you did what your profile says. Verified experiences appear on your professional genome and give recruiters more confidence in your profile than self-reported information alone.
Once your verifier completes the questions, a verified badge (a small shield icon) appears next to the title of that experience in your professional genome: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
When your genome is incomplete, an 'ENHANCE YOUR GENOME' button appears at the bottom of your profile. It guides you through the missing sections. When your genome is complete, the button disappears: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
Torre doesn't have an 'open to relocate' field yet. Keep your location set to where you live today, and mention in your bio that you're open to relocating and to which countries or cities: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
Signals are a way of compiling a list of people you’ll consider working with. Others can signal you as well. By signaling a person or organization, you notify them that you’ll consider working with them. Thus:
No, a Signal is not an application. It's simply a way to express your general interest in a person or organization. You can use it to let them know you're open to future opportunities or collaborations.
We use an invitation system to ensure the jobs we show you are a perfect fit.
Due to the high volume of applications, approval may take a few months. We don't have an estimated date, as the process depends on finding a job opening that perfectly matches your profile.
To increase your chances of being invited to the job search, keep your professional genome complete and up to date. Here are a few tips:
We will send you an email notification as soon as your application is approved or when we have a job opening that perfectly matches your profile. In the meantime, you can continue to build out your profile so you are ready when the time comes.
You can go to the ‘Your applications’ section. Here is the link: https://torre.ai/postings/applications
To delete a recommendation, follow these steps:
This option lets you exclude skills or organizations so we don't consider them when suggesting job matches. To exclude skills or organizations, follow these steps:
Here are three simple ways to do it:
No. Your application is fully valid without this step. Inviting your colleagues is optional and helps boost your profile.
No. Your application is not rejected. Due to the high volume of talent we are receiving, the acceptance process may take a little longer, but your profile remains active and under review.
Check the 'Match and rank' section of each job to identify the factors influencing your compatibility and which parts of your profile you can improve. Based on this, make sure to keep your professional genome complete and up to date to increase your chances of being shortlisted and to demonstrate that you meet the requirements.
If you have already applied, the response time may vary depending on each company's internal processes. To increase your chances of being contacted, I recommend:
When you go to the 'Search jobs' section (https://torre.ai/search/jobs), results are already filtered based on your preferences (skills, salary expectations, location, language, etc.). If you want to explore more options, simply adjust the filters or your preferences. You’ll also receive job suggestions from my team or me based on those preferences—so stay tuned!
You can view it in two ways:
At the moment, it is not possible to filter or sort jobs by publication date. Currently, the platform prioritizes showing relevant jobs based on your profile compatibility and preferences.
It means that there are one or more job requirements that, based on your current profile, are not being met. To find out exactly what is affecting your compatibility:
When your application status appears as "Reviewed," it means that the job admin has already reviewed your professional genome and other relevant information, such as your answers to the pre-screening questions. This is a positive step. If you haven't received any further updates after this status, you have a couple of options to get more information:
No, none of it can be skipped. Every pre-screening step is required, andyour pre-screening isn't complete until you answer all of them. Depending on the job, that includes your compensation expectation, location, language fluency, skills and experience details, ID document, and any questions the company added, including video or audio recordings. You don't have to finish in one sitting, though. You can come back whenever it suits you.
Your ranking shows where you stand among the applicants the recruiter hasn't reviewed yet. It's the same ranking the recruiter sees. It's dynamic: it changes as new people apply and as applicants get reviewed.
Torre infers your proficiency level from the jobs and projects where you used that skill. To support a higher level, update the descriptions of your experiences to explain how you used the skill, what you were responsible for, and the results: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
Yes. Creating your profile, searching for jobs, and applying are free. Torre Pro is an optional subscription ($4.99/month) that gives you early access to matching jobs, more profile visibility, and direct messaging with hiring admins: https://torre.ai/checkout/torre-pro
No. Torre never charges you to apply to a job or to be hired. If someone asks you for money to move forward in a hiring process (for training, equipment, a background check, or any other fee), don't pay, and report it to us here with the job link.
We review job postings before they are shared on the platform. Still, be careful if an employer asks you to pay, to share bank details or passwords, or to move the conversation to an unofficial channel before an interview. If something looks suspicious, report it to us here with the job link.
You can check the status of all your applications at https://torre.ai/postings/applications. When a recruiter moves you forward, they will contact you directly.
Employers see your professional genome, your Torre profile, instead of a separate resume file. Everything you add during pre-screening is saved to your genome automatically, so keeping it complete and up to date is the best way to show your experience: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
Open the job, click the three dots (⋮) next to the "Application delivered" bar at the bottom, and select "Retract application". If you change your mind, you can apply to the job again.
Only some of them. You can see the company's questions in the "Questions for applicants" section: open the job and click "Questions for applicants" in the menu on the left. The other pre-screening questions can't be seen in advance because they depend on how complete your genome is: the more complete it is, the fewer questions you'll be asked. Everything you answer is saved to your genome automatically: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
No. Each question sets how you answer it: if it asks for audio, you answer with audio, and if it asks for video, you answer with video.
No, you can't edit your answers to the company's questions (the ones that appear in the "Questions for applicants" section) after you submit them. But if you edit your professional genome, the changes are reflected in the recruiter's pipeline: https://torre.ai/_a/your-bio
No, you can apply to any job. Keep in mind that if you're not a match, your chances of being reviewed by the company are lower.
We use a secure, passwordless login method. Just type in your email address and we'll send you a one-time verification code from torre@torre.ai. Enter that code to access your profile.
Go directly to https://accounts.torre.ai/user and follow these steps:
Go to your professional genome and click the pencil icon below your current picture to upload a new one.
The verification code is sent from torre@torre.ai
Every time you make a purchase, you will automatically receive an email with the corresponding invoice. Please note that the email will be sent to the address used at the time of purchase.
You can send this link to your friend so they can create an account on Torre.ai: https://torre.ai/. Then, they just need to click on the ‘Sign in’ button and follow the steps indicated by the platform.
I can assist you with questions related to how I work and my operational processes. Whether you're a candidate looking for opportunities or a talent seeker, I'm happy to guide you through what I can do. To help you better, let me know what brings you here today: If you're a company:
Direct messaging with hiring admins is part of Torre Pro: https://torre.ai/checkout/torre-pro. Without it, the recruiter will contact you if your application moves forward, and you can check its status at https://torre.ai/postings/applications
No, Torre only has light mode.
Once you publish your job on Torre.ai, it’s automatically listed on the Torre Job Network for free, ensuring your opening can be discovered by anyone searching for relevant opportunities. If you need more candidates, you can activate the Torre Reach service to boost your reach and attract up to 20 times more applicants.
You have several ways to start attracting candidates on Torre:
To view the job openings you have posted, click the 'Your jobs' tab in the top navigation bar. You will see three tabs:
To create a new job posting, simply follow this link to get started: https://torre.ai/s/8FWUlPxIHJ. It’s fast, simple, and easy to complete!
On each job posting, you’ll find the following options: Posting – modify job details. Share – spread your opening on different platforms. Candidates – review and manage applicants. Stats – track performance analytics. Torre Reach – let me, Emma, promote your job to attract candidates.
To close a job posting:
Yes, most fields are editable via pencil icons: Basic info – title, organization, type, compensation, location. Description – responsibilities and role details. Requirements – skills, experience, languages. Duration – change from “Indefinitely open” to a timeframe. You can also use 'Preview' button to see how candidates view your job.
To help ensure your job posting is ready to go on the Torre Job Network, I recommend doing a quick final check to avoid common issues that may prevent it from moving forward. Please make sure of the following:
Yes. When you close a job on Torre.ai, the opening is deactivated on any external job boards where it was previously published.
When you post your job, it automatically becomes available for free on Torre’s network: matching professionals are invited to apply for free. If you want to reach even more candidates (including passive ones), you can:
A passive candidate is one who is not actively seeking a new role—typically because they’re already in a stable position—but they may show interest if presented with an attractive opportunity. This type of profile requires a more strategic approach, so I use personalized messages and consistent follow-up to convert them into applicants for your position.
You can publish as many job postings as you need. It’s completely free.
Yes, you can set the location filters directly in your job posting. This will help the system prioritize candidates from the countries you select.
Yes — Torre is a matching system, so every required skill and language works as an active filter. If a candidate doesn't meet these requirements, the system will identify them as a non-match or potential match depending on how they score on other factors. This means the more required skills and languages you add, the smaller your qualified candidate pool gets.
Don’t worry, I’m here to help you verify your account so you can publish your job posting. You have two ways to verify your account:
Yes, it’s safe. Verifying your ID is a one-time process and your information is never stored. It’s done through a certified provider who securely confirms your identity.
The 'Meet your team' section is located within each job opening, in the left-hand content panel.
Yes. When you click 'Rule out' and select a reason in the pop-up window, the candidate automatically receives a notification from Torre.ai informing them that they were not selected, along with the reason. The notification is standard; you can only customize the reason for rejection.
At Torre.ai, jobs can only be closed, not deleted. To do it:
Yes. When you close a job on Torre.ai, the opening is deactivated on any external job boards where it was previously published.
You can allow the AI to rank candidates automatically based on the evaluation criteria you'll define in the screening questions. This option is only available for open questions — whether written or audio/video recorded. Here's how:
Yes! Torre is a global platform, so you can post jobs open to candidates from any country. When setting up your job posting, select the location type that fits your needs: choose 'Remote' if you're open to candidates anywhere, 'Hybrid' for a combination, or 'On-site' if the role requires physical presence in a specific location. If you're hiring remotely but want to limit candidates to certain countries or timezones, you can set location filters directly in the posting. This helps our AI find the right candidates for your role.
To reopen a closed job:
To reject a candidate:
There's no pause option, but you can close the job and reopen it later when you want to receive applicants again. Your candidates stay in your pipeline.
Team Members don’t manage the posting itself; they represent the future team to candidates. Their behavioral traits are factored into the cultural match score. Some can be designated as “Leaders” to highlight their role in the team.
Go to the 'Meet your team' section of your job opening. There, you can add:
Admins share the same level of authority as the Job Poster. They can:
Follow these steps to add a new administrator to your job posting:
It is not possible to remove yourself as the administrator of your own job posting.
They have different functions, and each plays a key role:
Click on the 'Candidates' tab in the left-hand menu of your job opening. This will take you to your applicants pipeline, where you can view and manage all the recruitment stages.
To view only applicants who have completed the pre-screening, go to the top of the Applicants column and check the box labeled “Only show applicants with completed pre-screenings.” This will filter the list to show only those who have finished their pre-screening.
Click on any candidate card in your pipeline to open their genome profile. You’ll be able to:
Easily manage your candidates with these actions available in your pipeline:
You can contact applicants in two ways:
Team genomes represent your organization or team profile. They showcase:
Follow these instructions:
Once inside your team genome, you can manage:
Your team's genome includes cultural and behavioral insights. You can view them by following these steps:
To edit a team’s genome, you must be listed as an admin. Here’s how to check:
Follow these steps to give someone else admin access to your Team Genome:
To remove an admin from your job opening, follow these steps:
Go to the Candidates section of your job opening. In the Applicants column, you’ll see the candidates ranked and scored based on how well they meet the filters set in your job posting. Click on each candidate’s name to access the following information: Candidate Profile, skills and interests, reputation. Experience, Timeline and résumé. Raking, match score, pre-screening questions, and psychometric test results.
Torre doesn’t provide technical tests, but I can help validate candidates’ skills and experience in different ways. For example, I can use screening questions to assess technical knowledge, run psychometric tests, collect self-assessments, and even request third-party references to support their profiles. If you prefer, you can also add your own technical tests or external links directly into your pipeline. This way, when you move candidates forward in your selection process, the tests will be sent automatically, making the evaluation seamless and efficient.
For a better candidate experience, all applications must be completed directly through Torre. Data shows that extra steps in the application process can significantly reduce candidate drop-off, so keeping everything on Torre tends to get you better results and more completed applications.
Setting up automatic messages is simple. Go to the candidates section, where you’ll see a three-dot icon in each column. Click the icon in the column where you want to create the automatic message and use tags to personalize it as needed. Remember, only candidates who reach that column will receive the message.
Each candidate’s profile can be downloaded individually from your pipeline, giving you the ability to review and manage each profile in detail. Here’s how:
To report a hire, go to the "Candidates" section within your job posting, where you can see the different stages of your selection process. There, simply drag the candidate to the “Hired” column. If the process is already finished, I also recommend closing the job posting. You can do this directly from the posting itself. If you need help with any of these steps, I’m here to guide you.
To view a candidate's contact information, follow these steps:
If you want to have admin access to a Team Genome, here’s how you can do it:
Go to the 'Candidates' section in the left-hand menu of your job opening. In the 'Applicants' column, you'll see everyone who has applied, ordered by their ranking. While there's no exact application date available, each candidate's card shows their last activity date, which can give you a general sense of how recently they engaged.
As soon as you publish your job, it's automatically list it on the Torre Job Network for free and candidates can start applying right away. If you'd like to attract up to 20x more applicants, you can activate Torre Reach and I'll source candidates for you: https://torre.ai/reach
