Job Description: The Product QA Engineer at Singular is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of data-driven and AI-powered solutions, acting as a Product Quality Owner within execution. This role goes beyond traditional testing by actively participating throughout the entire sprint, continuously validating functionality, identifying risks early, and ensuring that every delivery generates real business value. The QA Developer collaborates closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, and developers, combining manual testing, automation, and AI-assisted validation to support continuous delivery and high-quality outcomes. Job Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Testing: - Design and execute manual and automated tests. - Create and maintain test cases and test suites. - Validate system functionality, stability, and performance. - Ensure coverage across critical workflows and edge cases. Execution & Delivery Quality: - Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria before release. - Identify and prevent risks that impact delivery timelines. - Perform continuous validation (not only at the end of the sprint). - Align quality efforts with project execution goals. Sprint Participation: - Participate in planning, refinement, and technical discussions. - Review tasks early and continuously. - Follow up on tasks in “Waiting for QA”. - Distribute QA validations throughout the sprint. Collaboration & Communication: - Collaborate with developers, PMs, and Product Owners. - Provide clear and structured feedback. - Ensure alignment between requirements and delivered solutions. - Raise risks and issues proactively. Functional Documentation: - Document user flows and system behavior by module. - Maintain version-controlled documentation (GitHub). - Review and approve AI-generated documentation. - Update documentation when features evolve. Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities to improve QA processes. - Promote best practices in testing and automation. - Contribute to overall system quality and team efficiency. Other Required Skills: - Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in software testing, with knowledge of automation tools and programming languages such as Java or Python. - They must demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset, with the ability to test real user scenarios and balance quality, speed, and effort. - Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to identify risks early, work across multiple projects, and adapt to a fast-paced, value-driven environment. Required Studies: Preferred Education: - Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Programming, or related fields. Practical Experience (Highly Valued): - Manual and automated testing. - QA tools and frameworks. - System validation and debugging. - Experience in agile or fast-paced environments.
