We work primarily with business owners in the United States. Our vision is to empower small business owners by delivering "white glove" service that maintains flexibility, care, and affordability. Who You Are. * Proactive and resourceful: anticipate needs and solve problems before they become issues. * Highly organized: establish clear day-to-day routines and keep complex workflows running smoothly. * A strong communicator: articulate ideas clearly and professionally in both written and verbal English. * Detail-oriented: care about accuracy. Key Responsibilities. * Manage financial records: execute full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online for a roster of clients, ensuring US GAAP compliance. * Reconciliation and reporting: perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and generate accurate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet). * AP/AR management: oversee invoicing and bill payments using tools like Bill.com and Stripe. * Process optimization: continuously look for ways to streamline financial workflows using tools like Hubdoc and 17hats. * Client support: act as a reliable financial resource, maintaining professional correspondence with clients regarding their accounts. Requirements. The essentials: * Experience: 5+ years of dedicated bookkeeping experience. * International exposure: 2+ years of experience working with American, Canadian, Australian, or U.K. clients/managers. * Technical mastery: 2+ years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is mandatory. * Experience in non-profit bookkeeping: done books for non-profit organizations. * Adaptability: ability to quickly learn new tools and find efficient solutions to day-to-day issues. * Availability: flexibility to take calls during PST to EST business hours. Preferred skills. * Experience with US GAAP standards. * Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello, or ClickUp). * Proficiency with financial ecosystem tools: Stripe, Hubdoc, 17hats, Bill.com, Gusto, and Wise. * Knowledge of IOLTA (Trust Accounting) is a significant advantage.
