✅ Role description: The Sales development representative will use sales intelligence tools to discover digital publishers who cover emerging trends in business, education, finance, health, journalism, law, science, and technology. You will introduce these digital publishers to Newstex via email-based lead generation campaigns, so you should be able to understand and produce all written forms in English. ✅ What you’ll be working on: You will present Newstex’s free content syndication service as a way for digital publishers to develop an authoritative brand. • Identifying sales leads using keyword research, primarily via sales intelligence platforms such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo • Qualifying sales leads and developing targeted lists of digital publishers based on a deep understanding of content syndication for business and academic markets • Devising personalized, email outreach campaigns for digital publishers • Recording detailed contact information of warm leads to be passed on to our Inside Sales Executives via our HubSpot CRM system • Testing and developing outreach methods, analyzing what worked and what didn't • Collaborating with marketing dept. on the content of brand awareness campaigns ✅ What we’re looking for: • 20 to 30 hours of weekly availability for work • Sales development experience at a media company • Experience with sales intelligence tools (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.) • Experience with email marketing tools (MailChimp, HubSpot, etc.) • Skill at identifying ideal customer profiles in collaboration with marketing dept. • Self-sufficiency: learning how to identify good digital publishers, crafting effective emails, and engaging with leads via email or LinkedIn • Creativity: the ability to develop your own content for email outreach campaigns • Big plus: a habit of maintaining clean and up-to-date data in HubSpot CRM or similar
