We are looking for a talented, driven individual in Quito, Ecuador, to join our team. The right candidate would have an aptitude for managing people and projects and the attitude to speak intelligently on high-level content of software and technology. The salary is starting USD 3000 per month. Required: - 6 years of experience managing software development projects. - Clearly demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully, continuously delivering successful implementations that meet the business need. - Clearly demonstrated ability to grasp business requirements at a high level to understand the overall objective of a project, identifying what would qualify a project as being successful. - Clearly demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively with a positive track record of ensuring project timelines from all members of the team and having properly identified and tracked any risks from the client/dev team that might have impacted that timeline. - Experience identifying and mitigating risks. - Appropriately delegates when necessary. - Demonstrated lack of hesitation to "get your hands dirty" if needed. Preferred: - Responsible for working with Team Lead to understand identified risks, being an escalation point as necessary for client communication. - Ultimately responsible for the success/failure of each delivered project. - Appropriately communicates impacts and risks to clients. - Appropriately assesses critical situations, clearly assessing the situation and communicating severity and impact while working with the client to properly determine priority.
