Hi! I'm Juan Torres, the Algorithm Operations Coordinator at Torre. We seek an Operations Freelancer to help us build the best and most accurate job-matching model. WHAT IS TORRE? At Torre, we're building AI recruiters who replicate human intuition. They automatically attract candidates, engage them, screen them, rank them, present them, and provide them with feedback. We analyze 100+ factors with nine types of AI to match candidates with companies, teams, and leaders. The result: we make recruiting faster, more accurate, less discriminatory, and significantly less expensive. Our end goal is to build THE matching network for work. We offer many product lines for companies, including Torre OS and Torre Reach. You'd directly impact both. Our motto is to make work fulfilling for everyone. Our seed round was $20M, of which Alex Torrenegra, our founder and CEO, contributed $10M. Other investors included early investors and executives from Apple, Amazon, Meta, Space X, and TikTok. We've already created one of the most sophisticated job-matching models to suggest and rank candidates. Our algorithm evaluates and assigns scores to every candidate and job listing in our database. Now, we need a detail-oriented Operations Freelancer to help us maintain and grow our knowledge graph, which is the base for our skill-based matching [LEARN MORE]. You will focus on ensuring candidate liquidity and match quality for the job openings posted by Torre clients. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIS: • Translate terms between English and Spanish. • Research commonly used and accurate terms, their meanings, and related skills. • Use APIs to create and update terms in our database. • Establish connections between skills and job titles to reflect real-world relationships. • Consult with LLMs for knowledge graph link creation. • Review and refine skill requirement lists from job postings on Torre. You'll share the KPIs of the Algorithm Operations team: • Speed: - Delay from ticket assignment to completion. - Delay from ticket-set-in-progress to completion. - Number of tickets processed before deadline. • Quality: - Number of similar skills, job titles, and lower-level skills linked to the requested term. THE TEAM: You'll report directly to me. You will work with some team members from different teams across the company. TOOLS AT YOUR DISPOSAL: • Our internal ticketing system. • Torre’s knowledge graph. • A database of skills, job titles, and industry terms used by our users. • Our endpoint collection for managing the knowledge graph. • Direct communication channels with other team members. OUR WORK CULTURE: We apply the scientific method to almost everything we do: ideate, hypothesize, experiment, analysis, repeat.
