We’re looking for a Cold Email Specialist.
You’ll fully own our cold email engine - both for Million Dollar Author’s internal growth and for client campaigns as part of a new service offering. This role is for someone who thinks system-first, writes strong copy, and can turn outbound into a predictable, scalable revenue channel.
In this role, you will:
- Create lead lists in Clay and import leads into Instantly.
- Purchase domains and configure inbox warm-up.
- Design cold email messaging based on offer and ICP.
- Run client onboarding and campaign launches.
- Monitor campaigns, inbox replies, and deliverability.
- Respond to positive replies and manage conversations.
- Test and iterate first-line hooks and messaging.
- Refresh and rebuild lead lists as volume is consumed.
- Track replies, positive responses, and booked calls.
- Monitor client performance and campaign health.
- Identify risks and underperforming campaigns.
- Coordinate messaging or targeting adjustments.
You’re systematic, analytical, and detail-oriented. You take full ownership, are honest about performance, curious about better ways to do things, and comfortable making complex systems feel simple and professional.
You’ll report to Agos Lupi, Growth & Marketing Manager. She’s deeply involved in scaling outbound systems - and she’s Argentinian 🇦🇷, and brings both energy and precision to everything she works on!
Working hours: This is a full-time role. There will be some hours of core overlap required ideally up until 3pm EST.
Requirements
Must-haves:
- 3-5 years of proven experience running successful cold email outreach campaigns.
- Experience working with international and US-based businesses in a remote capacity.
- Strong understanding of email infrastructure and deliverability (domains, DNS, Cloudflare, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Instantly.ai and Clay.com.
- Strong outbound strategy and messaging design skills.
- Excellent cold email copywriting skills.
- Highly organized and able to own processes end-to-end.
Brownie points:
- Experience using AI tools to improve outbound performance.
- Background working with agencies or outbound-driven businesses.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and email outbound ecosystems.
- Experience with tools like Mission Inbox.
