Department: Asset Management & Operations Reports To: Director of Operations Location: Remote / Hybrid Job Summary The Junior Financial Operations Analyst provides critical support to the Asset Management and Operations teams by managing the flow and accuracy of financial and operational data. This role focuses on hands-on execution of financial operations—including downloading reports, reconciling data, supporting budget tracking, and preparing preliminary analysis. The Analyst ensures that the data used for strategic decision-making is accurate, timely, and well-organized. Key Responsibilities Data Extraction & Reporting Generate and download weekly and monthly financial and operational reports for review Compile raw data into standardized Excel templates to track property performance and expense trends Support budget tracking and variance analysis across the portfolio Transform raw data into clean, professional-looking reports and presentations Financial Operations Support Perform routine audits to ensure entries match system records and SOPs Follow up with property managers or vendors to resolve discrepancies in SOP workflows Support delinquency tracking workflows and reporting Assist with accounts payable reconciliation and invoice processing Data Integrity & System Maintenance Monitor data syncs between systems (Yardi, Coda, etc.) Assist with basic system administration and improvements on data analysis tools Maintain organized file structures and documentation Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data manipulation) Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting recurring deadlines and closing the loop on tasks Familiarity with AI tools for productivity and data analysis Preferred Experience with Yardi and AvidXchange (or similar property management ERP systems) Experience with automation tools (Make.com, Zapier, or similar) Experience in multifamily property management or real estate finance Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
