In a sea of content vying to become the next big franchise, it's easy to miss the treasures hidden in the depths of established IP. We use machine learning to comb through thousands of potential stories ranging from forgotten nostalgic hits, new emerging genres, growing fandoms on subreddits, to globally recognized franchises with millions of fans that you didn’t even realize entered the public domain. We align these IPs with content market gaps in streaming recommendations to give these stories a perspective audiences are missing. To make even outdated IP feel timely, we identify emerging societal trends that tie into the stories and themes to resonate with audiences to tap into the current cultural conversations. In doing so, we discover stories ready to be told.
