At Kiwibot, we are building the largest robotic last-mile delivery network to support operations in several environments, from college campuses to cities across the US, Middle East & Asia. We believe that clean and effective technological solutions will power the future and that everyone should have access to receive anything at a low or no cost. As a QA engineer, you’ll report to our Head of Software & Digital Product. It could be an excellent opportunity for you to join us & help us make sure to release the best software to our company and clients. We are looking for someone self-motivated, collaborative, and who thrives in a startup environment working on various projects. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-learner ready to take on the next step, has to be energetic, collaborative, has strong communication skills, and proactive. You will work in a rapidly changing environment and must have experience working with remote dynamic teams and product testing in other tech companies. ​As a QA engineer, a typical day might include the following: * Building and maintaining web applications. * Assessing the efficiency and speed of current applications. * QA testing. * Keeping on top of new technologies. * Troubleshooting and debugging. * You should be able to understand and produce articles or reports, clear speeches, and regular meetings in English. This job might be the right one if you: * Proven work experience in software development. * Proven work experience in software quality assurance. * Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. * Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases. * Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. * Hands-on experience with automated testing tools. * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. * Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus. You might have also had: * Spanish language skills (we are a Latin America start-up!). * Experience starting or scaling a successful startup. * Comfort with uncertainty. * Experience constant change and sudden growth. * Writing high-quality code.
