We are looking for talented, driven individuals in Quito, Ecuador, to join our team. The right candidate would have an aptitude for software development and the attitude to jump in and learn a new platform. Deft would be providing Appian training, coaching, and mentoring to support your growth into a consultant.
It's not a must to know all the languages mentioned as skills (Java, C++, C#, Python). Deft consulting is just looking for candidates who have experience in some languages for a couple of years. You just need to be able to pick up a new language quickly.
The salary is starting USD 1500 per month. However, once you learn the technology and can work independently (we find this usually happens within a year), you would move to Senior Consultant and the pay band for that is $2500-$2700. We continue to compensate well as you gain experience and show us you are technically strong.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, deploy and support enterprise-level BPM applications.
- Translate business process software requirement specifications into prototypes and solutions.
- Support data gathering and analysis to facilitate risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Deliver projects using Agile development methodology.
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in software development,
- Proficient in professional and technical English, both oral and written,
- BS in Computer Science or related field,
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies,
- Experience throughout the software development life cycle,
- Experience designing and delivering complex, highly-scalable software components,
- Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels,
- Must be able to multitask efficiently and progressively and work comfortably in an ever-changing data environment,
- Must work well in a team environment as well as independently,
- Passion for technology and innovation,
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, such as Java, C++, C#, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of database management systems, such as MySQL, MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
Preferred:
- Experience with BPMS platforms, such as Bizagi, Pega, Appian, ServiceNow, etc.
- IT consulting experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
