Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Surveyor Scheduling Coordinator to join our global operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-volume scheduling requests and ensuring the right surveyor is assigned to the right vessel, in the right port, at the right time. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong logistical coordination, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to incoming scheduling requests via a central inbox (170+ weekly on average).
Assign surveyors based on location, expertise, availability, and office alignment.
Coordinate with regional offices to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Trackassignments from request through completion and maintain accurate logs.
Communicate proactively with surveyors, clients, and office staff to ensure smooth execution.
Generate and maintain scheduling metrics for reporting.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and logistics skills with proven experience handling high-volume scheduling or dispatch.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across global teams.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and remain detail-focused.
Tech-savvy and comfortable with scheduling, CRM, or workflow tools.
Nice-to-Haves:
Prior experience in maritime operations, dispatch, or surveyor scheduling.
Familiarity with ports, vessels, or maritime industry practices.
