Requirements and responsibilities

Job Overview: MiraSol Physical Therapy, a leading outpatient clinic specializing in pelvic health and orthopedics, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Las Cruces, NM. We are looking for a PTA with a strong interest and background in orthopedics, and while experience or interest in pelvic health is a plus, it is not a requirement for this role. This position is ideal for a compassionate and driven PTA focused on providing high-quality care to patients in a supportive, specialty clinic setting. Responsibilities: - Deliver hands-on physical therapy services, under the direction and supervision of licensed Physical Therapists, with a primary focus on orthopedic rehabilitation. - Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their physical health goals. - Provide education to patients regarding exercises, postural corrections, and injury prevention techniques. - Accurately document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT. - If desired, there is potential to assist with pelvic health patients, though this is not a required aspect of the role. Qualifications: - Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. - State licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physical Therapist Assistant in New Mexico. - Strong interest and experience in orthopedic care; additional interest in pelvic health is welcome but not required. - Excellent communication and patient care skills. - Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive patient care environment. Why Join MiraSol Physical Therapy? - Join a specialized team in a clinic known for excellence in pelvic health and orthopedic care. - Work in a patient-focused environment where collaboration and ongoing professional development are encouraged. - Competitive compensation package, including benefits and continuing education opportunities. - Gain exposure to pelvic health therapy if interested, and expand your clinical expertise.
