TubeScience is seeking a Post-production supervisor based in Mexico who can help us grow our constantly expanding Post-Production team. This person should have experience growing teams from the ground up, and working in a fast-paced, constantly fluctuating environment. The ideal candidate will have experience running a Post team independently, and be able to adjust staffing numbers based on client needs and budget. The Post supervisor will work with the existing Post-Production and Production technology team to set standards and process, with a focus on flexibility and creative excellence. This role reports directly to the VP of Operations in Los Angeles. Responsibilities: ● Build a Post-Production department from the ground up in Latin America, with a focus on freelance editors, and a team that is fast-paced and flexible. ● Lead the Latam post team with a focus on adjusting the editor roster based on budget and client needs. ● Work with the US Post and Production Tech team to set a standard of excellence for the Latam Post. ● Create a training and onboarding program to ensure new hires can hit the ground running. ● Work with Post-Production Coordinator to set schedules, timelines, and expectations of deliverables. ● Advise on Pre-Production and on-set best practices to ensure Production quality. ● Collaborate with Senior Leads to ensure that the creative process is efficient. ● Occasionally jump into edits when necessary, or to help guide direct reports. ● Create a budget, track cost allocations for projects, report actuals, and work with leadership to create operational budgets. Requirements: ● Professional Working Proficiency in English (Lvl 3 or higher), both written and verbal. ● Demonstrated excellence in performance editing and strategic thinking. ● Demonstrated excellence in managing, especially in a freelance environment. ● Experience assisting with Editor recruiting and training initiatives. ● Advanced knowledge of the post-production workflow, both from a creative and technical perspective. ● Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite. ● Strong knowledge of Ads Manager and social media trends, is able to train others on research techniques. ● Excellent attention to detail and managing many projects at once with minimal guidance. ● Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. ● Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. ● Able to conduct themselves in a professional, remote-first environment. ● Able to build and maintain budgets for multiple projects and a department. ● Knowledge of remote editing workflows and troubleshooting issues as they arise. ● Knowledge of Lucid Link is a plus, or relevant experience in remote editing workflows. ● Knowledge of Monday.com is a plus, or relevant experience in project management systems.
