Requirements and responsibilities
We are looking for an automation engineer for a video management system project to help build an automation solution for a desktop application from scratch.
Responsibilities:
⚡ Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives.
⚡ Build from scratch the automation solution for the desktop application using Ranorex.
⚡ Participate in the team analysis and decision of the best approaches to achieve the team's goals.
⚡ Write robust test scripts that stand the test of time using best practices for automation.
⚡ Run smoke regression suite after every build and publish detailed reports with the detected bugs.
⚡ Run full automation suite for every release and analyze the root cause of failed scripts.
⚡ Write clear, reproducible bug reports quickly and concisely, and collaborate with developers to get them fixed.
Requirements:
⚡ Experience automating desktop applications with Ranorex is a must (at least a year).
⚡ Experience developing automated tests, procedures, and plans.
⚡ Experience with object-oriented languages such as C#.
⚡ Experience automating functional UI.
⚡ Strong knowledge of testing life cycle & defect life cycle process.
⚡ Experience in black box testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing & system testing.
⚡ Exposure to test strategy and test plan in an agile environment.
⚡ Exposure to writing, reviewing, and executing test scenarios and test cases.
⚡ Ability to be comfortable working directly with clients in and scrum environment.
⚡ Knowledge of automation best practices.
⚡ English: conversational oral and written communication skills with an extraordinary sense of customer service.
⚡ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
⚡ Knowledge of CI/CD is a plus.
