Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Finance Attorney with a strong background in leveraged finance and syndicated credit transactions to join a nationally recognized AM Law 200 firm based in Charlotte, NC. Requirements: * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a Top 30 U.S. law school with a minimum GPA of 3.0. * 3 to 8 years of experience handling financial services transactions (e.g., syndicated credit facilities, leveraged finance). * Previous experience working at a Top 200 AM Law firm. * Admission to the North Carolina Bar (preferred). * Excellent academic record, written communication, and interpersonal skills. * Willingness to relocate to Charlotte, NC (up to \$10K relocation assistance provided). * Available for a hybrid model (typically 3 days in-office). * U.S. work authorization required (visa sponsorship not supported). Responsibilities: * Structure, draft, and negotiate complex credit and finance agreements. * Advise on leveraged lending, syndicated credit, and other corporate finance matters. * Work closely with clients, partners, and interdisciplinary legal teams on high-value transactions. * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and legal standards. * Contribute to internal initiatives such as training, mentoring, and business development.
