Requirements and responsibilities

• An engineer who can perform tasks that are assigned related to Terraform, K8s, lower-level cloud tasks. The tickets should be well-defined and groomed with a Staff Cloud Engineer, or higher, as the Cloud Engineer will require oversight and help. This is the entry to doing Pro Serve / Managed Services Engineering work. • Big picture understanding of how all components of a solution interact with each other. • Extensive knowledge of the services offered by the cloud platforms and how they can be used to provide a solution for customers. • Ability to provide pros/cons of different technologies for a given solution. • Responsible for leading and/or working on 1-3 projects. • Can lead smaller projects with 1-5 other engineers and a Project Manager. • Communicate with Delivery in regards to hitting timelines, need for additional resources, scope changes, as well as for deciding between when to cut scope to hit a deadline or push the deadline out further (as required).
