💻 Overview: 🔹 We are seeking an experienced Senior UI Developer to join our team for a passive investment tracker project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in React development, coupled with proficiency in GraphQL, REST API integration, and AWS SDK for JavaScript. With a focus on enhancing user experience and functionality, the role involves collaborating with our UI Lead Developer to address existing bugs, implement new features, and contribute to the ongoing refinement of our investment management application. 💻 Requirements: 🔹 Communication skills: Must be able to speak English fluently and carry a conversation, and for this in particular. 🔹 Timezone overlap with the US will be important. 🔹 5+ years of experience. 🔹 Must have excellent experience with -React -MUI controls -TypeScript -Understanding or familiarity with: -Nx (or monorepo technology like lerna or npm workspaces) -Zustand (or Redux or other store libraries) -React-query -Graphql - familiarly is a bonus -Excellent working in a small, fully remote group. -Excellent understanding of CICD and GitHub 🔹 Great attention to designs and details accordingly - REST API’s - Agile SCRUM - Ability to work independently and ability to follow existing design patterns. - Resourceful individual who knows how to debug, come up with creative solutions and is not afraid to speak up on better ways to approach certain problems. 💻 Responsibilities: 🔹 Collaborate with the UI Lead Developer and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable UI solutions. - Develop, test, and deploy UI components using React, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across various devices and browsers. - Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL queries for seamless data exchange between the frontend and backend systems. - Utilize AWS SDK for JavaScript to interact with AWS services and integrate necessary functionalities into the UI. - Troubleshoot and debug existing issues within the application, implementing effective solutions to enhance stability and performance. - Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending relevant tools and techniques to improve development processes. 🔹 Looks for solutions, not asks for solutions. 🔹 Can manage own tasks. 🔹 Takes ownership. 🔹 Understands Architectural patterns (Separation of Control. Microservices, DDD, etc.). 🔹 Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript. 🔹 Ability to take a mock-up and implement, following best practices and standards. 🔹 Familiarity with using third party components (to not reinvent the wheel). 💻 Nice to have: 🔹 Knowledge of investment management principles and financial instruments. - Familiarity with data visualization libraries and techniques for presenting complex financial data. - Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. - Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Understanding of security best practices for web applications and AWS services.
