We are looking for a bilingual administrative assistant to support U.S. healthcare operations. Our core operations hub is located in Medellín, and we are prioritizing candidates in this city to lead our on-site team. Location and modality * Medellín (priority): 100% on-site. This role is designed for our headquarters, where you will work closely with the core team. * Other cities (Colombia): Applications from other cities are welcome and will be considered as a talent pool for future remote-specific openings. Please note that the process for remote roles may take longer. Work schedule and conditions * Duration: 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. * Holidays: We follow the U.S. medical calendar; Colombian holidays are regular working days. * Timezone: Schedule aligned with U.S. clinic hours. Key responsibilities * Verify insurance coverage and manage prior authorizations. * Process new patient intake and eligibility verification. * Manage patient appointments and maintain EMR system records. * Handle phone calls and emails, and coordinate referrals. * Provide virtual receptionist services and general administrative support. Requirements * Language: Advanced English and Spanish (fluent/C1). * Experience: Previous experience in U.S. healthcare, insurance, or EMR is highly valued. * Residency: Must be located in Medellín for on-site roles or within Colombia for potential remote opportunities. * Contractual fit: Comfortable working under a long-term service contract (independent contractor model). Compensation and benefits * Fee: Competitive monthly fee, above market average to compensate for the contractor model. * PTO: After 90 days, you earn one paid day off every two months. * Growth: Long-term project with professional development opportunities.
