Requirements and responsibilities

As a Product Owner at Singular, you will play a pivotal role in shaping AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business impact for our clients. You will bridge strategy and execution — defining the product vision, prioritizing value-driven features, and ensuring every deliverable enhances ROI, scalability, and operational efficiency. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you’ll transform business goals into actionable product outcomes, fostering innovation, agility, and excellence across every project. Job Responsibilities: * Own and maintain the product backlog, defining and prioritizing initiatives based on business goals, client needs, and data insights. * Collaborate with stakeholders to align expectations, gather feedback, and communicate progress and priorities clearly. * Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy, ensuring the development team understands the “why” behind each feature. * Participate actively in planning, execution, and review cycles, guiding the team toward delivering high-value, high-quality releases. * Continuously analyze product performance and user feedback to optimize functionality and enhance user experience. * Ensure all product documentation is complete, clear, and consistently updated. * Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and data-driven decision-making within the team. Hard Skills (Technical & Strategic) Essential: * Product Management Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Notion, or similar for backlog and sprint management. * Roadmapping & Prioritization: Ability to build and maintain product roadmaps using frameworks like MoSCoW, RICE, or Value vs. Effort. * Analytics & KPIs: Strong understanding of product performance metrics (adoption, churn, NPS, ROI, delivery velocity). * User Research & Feedback Analysis: Skilled at gathering and interpreting user insights to guide product decisions. * Technical Literacy: Solid understanding of APIs, data flows, and digital platforms — capable of communicating effectively with engineering teams. * AI / Data-driven Approach: Familiarity with AI-powered products, automation, or predictive analytics. * Documentation: Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain accurate, updated product documentation. Nice to Have: * Knowledge of UX/UI principles to validate usability and user journeys. * Experience with Agile / Scrum frameworks and continuous delivery environments. * Strong stakeholder management experience with U.S.-based or international clients. * Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Airtable, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Soft Skills (Behavioral & Leadership) Essential: * Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect product decisions with broader business goals and measurable outcomes. * Communication & Storytelling: Clearly articulates the product vision and motivates teams and stakeholders around it. * Empathy & User Focus: Deep understanding of user needs and advocacy for user-centric decisions. * Decision-Making: Confident in prioritizing initiatives by balancing impact, urgency, and available resources. * Accountability: Strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and commitment to results. * Collaboration: Excellent at fostering alignment and cooperation across cross-functional teams. * Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to feedback, changing requirements, or shifting priorities. Nice to Have: * Coaching Mindset: Encourages team growth, autonomy, and continuous learning. * Conflict Resolution: Skilled at managing and resolving disagreements constructively. * Curiosity & Innovation: Passion for exploring new technologies, AI trends, and digital product strategies.
