Hi, I’m Alexander Torrenegra, CEO of Torre. I am also a tech investor in Shark Tank Colombia and Shark Tank Mexico. Not surprisingly, I love working with entrepreneurs. That's why we have an Entrepreneur in Residence program at Torre, similar to an internship (four months) but for experienced entrepreneurs to engage in several short, entrepreneurial projects within our organization. You'll work closely with me and my team and learn about our entrepreneurial tactics. And, who knows? We may end up working together afterward.

WHAT IS TORRE?
We’re the first company to fully automate recruiting end-to-end. We’re the Waymo for recruiting. Our AI recruiter, Emma, helps both companies and candidates. She does everything a top recruiter does but doesn’t discriminate. She even predicts if a candidate is a good match not just for a given job but also for a company and team.
Most human talent goes to waste because it's never exposed to the right opportunities. Our mission is to change that. WHY THE OPENING?
I love working with entrepreneurs, and we have many unique, short-term projects that are more likely to succeed if an entrepreneurial generalist tackles them. The scope can be anything from marketing, to sales, to product development, to engineering, to business development, to research, etc. Expect to be challenged with different topics. Your ability to learn and get shit done is paramount.
Additionally, this four-month experience may end up leading to a longer-term agreement.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
You'll be responsible for getting shit done. The projects you'll work are to-be-defined, but these are examples of projects performed by previous entrepreneurs-in-residence at Torre.
- Prototype a new AI business line, including pretending to be the AI (artificial-artificial intelligence)
- Identify and test new market segments for us to go after
- Experiment with an innovative growth hack
- Run new branding efforts, such as webinars or social media reels that go viral
- Design the SOPs for a new process
- Identify the best vendor to solve a given challenge
Etc.
THE TEAM:
You’ll report directly to me, the CEO. You’ll work closely with many other Torrex depending on the project you're tackling at any given time.

HIRING PROCESS:
1st. You’ll apply via Torre (you may be an overachiever who has never applied to a job before, but please do it this time around so that you can experience our tech).
2nd. I’ll review your application. If you’re a potential match, I’ll contact you to answer any questions.
3rd. We’ll do a first interview.
4th. We’ll ask you to complete a paid test, during which you'll interact with our team to learn about your work style.
5th. We’ll do a second, extended interview.
6th. We’ll make you an offer.
