Responsibilities include developing COBOL programs from scratch and enhancing existing code, processing variable and fixed-length files, integrating Oracle databases with COBOL, working on Linux to receive and process files from third-party customers, writing and analyzing SQL queries, and supporting EDI-based business processes and integrations. Requirements include strong COBOL/Mainframe development, solid Linux experience, SQL proficiency, and knowledge of EDI transactions (POs, PO Acknowledgements, ASN, Invoices). Familiarity with Jira, Excel, and Word. Nice to Have: IBM Sterling Integrator.
