Multimedia Content Designer Position Type: Full-Time Location: Remote (open to anywhere) Reports To: Founder About Paragon Paragon is a marketing agency that provides fractional CMO services and AI-powered creative tools to independent retailers — with a heavy concentration in the US independent jewelry market. We sit inside our clients' businesses as their marketing leadership: owning strategy, managing budgets, and producing the campaigns and content that drive their growth. Our clients are owner-operated retailers spending $160K–$300K+ annually on marketing without a CMO. We're the brain and the production engine. Beyond jewelry, we serve a small portfolio of clients in adjacent verticals. We're small, fast, and AI-leveraged. We work in tight feedback loops and we ship. About the Role We're hiring a Multimedia Content Designer to produce the full creative output across our client portfolio. This is a hands-on production role — not a strategist, not a manager. You make the work. Day to day, you'll be designing social ads, building email campaigns, producing short-form video, laying out print pieces, and concepting billboard creative. You'll work across roughly 5–10 client brands at any given time, so brand discipline and the ability to switch context fast matter as much as raw design skill. A meaningful share of the work is for independent jewelers — premium, detail-oriented, visually demanding. Strong taste in luxury and lifestyle visual language is a real asset. You don't need to come from jewelry, but you should be able to point to work that respects craft, materiality, and restraint. You'll use Propreitary AI tools as part of daily production. What You'll Own Graphic Design Social ads (Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok) — static and motion Email campaigns and flows (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, similar) Print collateral: direct mail, in-store signage, event materials Out-of-home: billboards, transit, large-format Brand assets: one-pagers, decks, lookbooks, sales sheets Video Content Short-form vertical video for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts Product video, lifestyle edits, founder/staff features Basic motion graphics and animated social posts Light-touch video for paid social and email Product Imagery Compositing product into lifestyle or model-based scenes AI-assisted product photography enhancement and variation E-commerce-ready imagery: clean, consistent, conversion-focused Production Workflow Manage your own creative calendar across multiple client brands Upload, organize, and stage content in client publishing tools Maintain brand consistency across every output for every client Iterate fast on feedback without losing quality Must-Have 3+ years producing creative work across multiple channels (social, email, print, video) Strong portfolio showing range — not just social, not just print Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere) Comfortable with short-form video editing and basic motion design Experience designing for paid social (you understand what works in a feed) Conversational English Self-directed — you can take a brief and run with it Fast iteration without ego about your first draft Nice-to-Have Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (Midjourney, Sora, Runway, Firefly, Claude, etc.) Background in jewelry, fashion, beauty, hospitality, or other premium retail verticals Experience with Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or similar email platforms Print production knowledge (bleeds, color profiles, vendor coordination) Shopify or e-commerce visual asset experience Light copywriting ability for headlines and ad copy Familiarity with project management tools (Notion, ClickUp, Asana) How We Work Fully remote. Pick your hours within reason. Be available for a few overlap hours with US Central Time for client work. Small team. You'll work directly with the founder. No layers, no politics. We move fast. Feedback is direct. Revisions happen same-day when possible. AI is part of the toolkit, not a debate. Output matters more than hours. If you ship great work, the rest follows. Compensation Competitive, structured to candidate location and experience level. Performance bonuses tied to client retention and portfolio growth.
