You will help assemble a monthly financial packet and present financial statements to clients.Successful candidates have a strong experience in QBO and Xero. Ideal candidates are also advanced in Excel and have a strong business acumen.ResponsibilitiesThis role is solutions-oriented and requires proactive engagement to ensure client success.Oversee month-end closing and all key accounting-related activities for clients - accurate and timely circulation of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgetsCash Flow projection (and updates) and communicating cash position to clientsFinancial Package Creation: Ensuring proper margin recognition, Reconciling/Recording transactions (Sales, Deferrals, Accruals, Returns, Discounts, Write-offs), Monitoring Sales Orders (wholesale), etc.Inventory Management including: Good understanding of Inventory, Reconciling inventory (Physical, Sub to GL), Accruals, Samples, Inventory adjustments, Obsolescence, Monitor POs, etc.Reconciliation of bank and credit card statementsReconciliation of other payment accounts (e.g. PayPal, Stripe, etc)Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and thorough understanding of amortization schedulesManage Accounts Receivable and PayablesManage AR aging reports for clientsManage AP in Bill.com (or related software) for clientsPayroll management for clientsWork with FinanceWithin management to support the teamSupport as a consultant to clients on accounting related workGeneral ledger accountability, financial analysis, financial reporting, and special reports, financial profitability analysis, other special projects as assignedQualifications6+ years of experience in full cycle accounting2+ years of experience in a multi-client or consulting roleAdvanced in QBO and XeroExperience with e-commerce is a big plus (Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com,etc)Firm grasp of accounting principlesExcellent analytical and communication skillsProactive and team-centric attitudeCompensation$40K – $70K • Offers Bonus
