This writer should be a detail-oriented team player who possesses strong organizational and decision-making skills. They should be able to meet deadlines and work both independently and in groups. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Translating solutions into effective business proposals tailored to prospects’ unique needsAnalyzing various business products and services and applying their capabilities/functionality to the proposal storySupporting with growth to leading the proposal development process, from kickoff to brainstorm sessions to RFP defense meetingsApplying layout and other desktop publishing skills, such as PowerPoint and WordStrong proofing and editing abilities to edit content for conciseness and consistencyAbility to research and write to complex topicsMaintaining content repositoryAdhering to stringent proposal schedule deadlinesUnderstanding proposal databasesPerforms other related duties as assigned by managementRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English, Biological Science, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field.3-5 years of experience as a writer; experience in healthcare/specialty pharmacy a plus.Strong teamwork and with a desire to learn and grow.Public relations and/or marketing agency experience a plus.COMPETENCIES:Diversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy; Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Educates others on the value of diversity; Promotes a harassment-free environment; Builds a diverse workforce.Ethics - Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Business Acumen - Understands business implications of decisions; Displays orientation to profitability; Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals.Change Management - Develops workable implementation plans; Communicates changes effectively; Builds commitment and overcomes resistance; Prepares and supports those affected by change; Monitors transition and evaluates results.Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to
