I'm the CEO of Torre.ai, the new global job network. We’re building a personal recruiter for everyone. Her name is Emma. She proactively helps people define and pursue their career paths—and she does it for free. For companies, Emma handles recruitment, not as a copilot but as a pilot, a virtual colleague who brings candidates optimized to match the opening and the leader they will have. Our goal is to build the new global job network and provide real-time job liquidity for everyone.
Previously, I co-founded and bootstrapped Voice123, the first and largest global marketplace for voice-overs, and Bunny Studio, a mission-critical outsourcing solution for creative work, both with my wife, Tania Zapata.
I co-founded Torrenegra Organization to support bootstrapped entrepreneurs in accelerating their businesses, and Discrimination Watch, a nonprofit that measures and reports recruitment discrimination.
I hold multiple patents related to the dynamics of job marketplaces. MIT honored me with the Innovator Under 35 award, with the High-Impact Entrepreneur title by Endeavor, and named Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
Together, Tania and I have angel-invested in 50+ tech companies. In 2017, I joined Sony's Shark Tank Colombia and Shark Tank Mexico as an investor.
