YOUNG MINDS is a youth-led organization, launched on January 25th 2024, that works to enable youth as agents of change in their local communities. We strive towards achieving our goals with the motto ‘Collaborate, Empower, Transform’. The three initiatives are as follows: 🌟YOUNG MINDS Dream: This project aims to cultivate critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity in 8th-grade Government school students in India through interactive activities and real-world applications, thereby empowering them for personal growth and future educational and career opportunities. We have led this intervention at Government schools in Sonipat and are gradually expanding to schools in Delhi as well. Have upskilled over 60 8th-grade government school students in Sonipat and are gradually expanding in Delhi. 🌟YOUNG MINDS Speak: This is a project to bring together budding Indian youth changemakers to provide them mentorship along with a platform to collaborate and work towards nation-building. We also work towards getting the voices of these young changemakers heard as we recognize the importance of the youth's perspective. We have successfully built a community of over 40 budding changemakers in India and working to grow the network as we speak. 🌟Young Minds for Change Dialogue: It is a uniquely conceptualized youth-led solution-centric dialogue, which provides young people the platform to deliberate on solutions, and propose recommendations for the future. They are standalone dialogues, which we organize across the country on various themes. The Summit is a 3-day residential event, which includes the dialogues, workshops for the changemakers, presentations of their work by youth leaders, and various cultural and networking activities. In December 2024, we organized the Summit at and in partnership with the O.P. Jindal Global University, where we hosted over 25 young changemakers and collaborated with organizations like Pravah, YLAC, and others.
