Role SummarySSIS Lead responsible for end-to-end ownership of a Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem, including SSIS, SQL Server Agent, T-SQL codebases, and supporting infrastructure.Diagnose performance, reliability, and operability issues, delivering measurable optimizations across programming and platform layers.Drive rapid experimentation through POCs that progress into controlled production deployments with clear validation and rollback paths.Serve as the primary client-facing technical advisor, translating findings into actionable plans, tradeoffs, and outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Technical Ownership and ArchitectureClient Leadership and DeliveryAct as the senior technical point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring high trust and clear accountability.Proactively communicate findings, options, tradeoffs, and recommendations, and drive decisions to closure.Execute rapid POCs: design, build, test, present outcomes, and convert into production-ready solutions.Lead solution walkthroughs, executive-ready updates, and client-friendly documentation.Required Qualifications10+ years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server engineering with senior ownership of production environments.Strong SSIS expertise: package design patterns, performance tuning, troubleshooting, configurations, and deployments.Deep SQL Server Agent experience: scheduling strategy, dependencies, operational controls, and recovery patterns.Advanced T-SQL skills: stored procedures, functions, query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.Prior DBA experience supporting production: maintenance strategy, security fundamentals, backup/restore concepts, capacity planning, and incident response.Proactive communicator who can lead client conversations, present recommendations, and drive outcomes.Please share resumes to susmitha@i2visions.com
