Requirements and responsibilities

We’re looking for a Senior DevEx Engineer to help transform our software delivery process and make releases fast, safe, and routine.In this hands-on contract role, you’ll own the release pipeline end-to-end and help us reduce friction between writing code and shipping it to production.What you’ll work on:Modernizing CI/CD pipelinesImproving QA and test automation in a Python/Django environmentIntroducing AI-assisted testing and intelligent test generationBuilding deployment safety mechanisms (feature flags, canary releases, automated rollback)Reducing manual work across build, test, and deployment workflowsHelping engineering teams ship more frequently and with greater confidenceWe’re looking for someone with:5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Release Engineering, or Developer ExperienceStrong CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)Experience with AWS, Docker, ECS, and TerraformHands-on experience with Python/Django test automationExperience improving release processes and deployment reliabilityFamiliarity with AI coding and testing toolsBonus points for experience with:Gaming or real-time platformsAgentic QA and AI-driven test generationSentry, Datadog, or observability toolingPostgreSQL-backed applications
