JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is a fast-growing healthcare e-commerce startup building a platform that makes it simple to shop for any type of care. They are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale their healthcare platform by developing end-to-end features and collaborating directly with clinical staff to integrate with complex healthcare systems. This is a hands-on startup opportunity for an engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and wants to own features from concept through production. RESPONSIBILITIES • Build and maintain full-stack features, including pricing engines, appointment booking, and payment systems. • Write product requirements documents (PRDs), SQL analytics queries, and perform quality assurance for assigned features. • Collaborate directly with clinicians and operations teams to understand workflows and business needs. • Integrate with Electronic Health Records (EHRs), insurance systems, laboratory providers, and other healthcare infrastructure. • Solve complex technical challenges in a fast-moving startup where engineers wear multiple hats. MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS • 3–7 years of full-stack software engineering experience. • Previous startup experience with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and rapid iteration. • Strong full-stack development skills or front-end expertise with the desire to become a generalist. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. • Proficiency in at least one modern technology stack with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts. • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building products and understanding go-to-market (GTM) strategy. • Must already reside in the San Francisco area. • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
