Requirements and responsibilities


My client is deploying a large-scale Salesforce and CRM transformation across its global organization. This initiative will impact 400+ users across Sales, Sales Support, Operations, Analytics, and Service Groups in North America and Asia-Pacific, rolled out in phased waves. This role is a critical enabler of adoption. We are seeking an Instructional Designer / Facilitator who can work with another Designer / Facilitator to architect and deliver an enterprise-grade learning experience that supports system adoption, process change, and long-term scalability. Engagement Details: - Extension Potential: High for strong performers. - Location: Remote for design work; in-person facilitation required in North America. - Travel: Occasional travel required (valid passport required). - Candidate Requirement: US or Canadian based. Role Scope: - This is a hybrid role combining instructional design leadership and facilitation. - The role is expected to partner with the other designer / facilitator and own the curriculum strategy, coordinate stakeholders, and personally deliver training to institutional enterprise audiences. Responsibilities: Instructional Design: - Co-lead end-to-end curriculum design. - Conduct training needs analysis. - Define curriculum architecture and content sequencing. - Design modules, lessons, and learning pathways. - Create facilitator guides (Word / PowerPoint). - Design job aids and reference materials. - Design for multiple personas (Sales, Service, Operations, Analytics). - Create reusable, modular content that scales globally. - Determine the right learning modality by audience (live, self-paced, webinar, job aids, AI-enabled microlearning). - Assess what content requires custom training versus Salesforce out-of-the-box tutorials. - Act as curriculum program manager, coordinating stakeholders and delivery timelines. Facilitation: - Deliver live, in-person training (primarily North America). - Facilitate sessions for Sales and Service teams with executive-level presence. - Deliver virtual sessions and webinars as appropriate. - Adapt facilitation style to North American Financial Services audiences. Required Experience & Skills: - US-based with native English fluency. - 5+ years of enterprise instructional design experience. - Strong facilitation presence with Financial Services and Sales audiences. - Experience designing training for Salesforce, CRM, or complex technology platforms. - Proven ability to design across multiple learning modalities. - Comfortable working in global, multi-region environments. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: - Prior Salesforce rollout or enablement experience. - Experience supporting global audiences (Europe / Asia-Pacific). - Background in Sales or Financial Services. - Exposure to AI-enabled learning concepts (hands-on development not required). What This Role Is Not: - Not responsible for adoption metrics or training effectiveness measurement. - Not required to build e-learning in specialized authoring tools (e.g., Articulate). - Salesforce certification not required. - Not a facilitation-only role. Success Profile: - The ideal Lead candidate is a senior, credible instructional leader who designs scalable curricula, confidently facilitates enterprise audiences, and understands change-driven technology adoption in complex organizations.
