We give our team the resources they need to get their work done without having to sit in a cubicle or stuffy office.Position OverviewThe Assistant Account Executive is responsible for executing public relations strategies to achieve client goals. This role involves day-to-day client communication, media relations, creative ideation, trend jacking, and project management. Brilliant, one of the most respected and rapidly growing agencies focused on family-oriented brands whose motto is “Work Hard - Play Hard - Laugh Hard”, seeks a Full-time Account Executive to help support the agency’s growing, award-winning full funnel marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of full-time agency experience in consumer products PR or integrated marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Relations:Pull and manage media and influencer databases.Regularly identify new editor and freelancer contacts via tools such as Qwoted, and subscribing to substacks.Draft and distribute pitches/press releases/media alerts; Conduct follow up and monitor for coverage.Contribute creative pitch angles to help breakthrough with top-tier national outlets.Dedicated affiliate / ecommerce pitching.Coordinate media interviews and develop spokesperson briefing documents.Build relationships with key journalists and influencers.Daily trend monitoring.Conduct competitor coverage monitoring.Awards:Track client media awards programs inclusive of research, recommendations, submission applications, and managing deadlines.Project Management:Coordinate project/campaign/account timelines and deliverables.Track progress and communicate with clients.Events/Activations:Assist in research, planning, and execution of virtual or live press media & influencer press events, creative media mailers, etc.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.2+ years of PR agency experience in the consumer goods industryExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying ahead of trendsBenefits Eligible ForUnlimited PTOPaid time off between Christmas and New Year'sFabulous Fridays - Office closes at 3 pm!401K with a 3% company matchMedical, dental, and vision coverageMedical and Dependent Care FSALife InsuranceLong Term DisabilitySalarySalary: 58-70k
