Speech Language Pathologist (School-Based) Location: Antioch, California Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract Pay: Up to \$95/hr (W2 or 1099 options available) About the Role We are seeking a passionate and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated school-based team in California. In this role, you will have a direct and lasting impact by helping students develop communication skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. Whether working on articulation, language development, fluency, or social communication, your expertise will help students thrive academically and socially. Key Responsibilities * Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ communication needs within the classroom. * Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals. * Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings. * Provide consultation and training to educators and families to create communication-rich environments. * Support students in individual, small group, and classroom settings. Required Qualifications * Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program. * Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential or ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (Clinical Fellows with eligible supervision accepted). * Current TB test clearance. * Fingerprint clearance / Live Scan through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI. * Compliance with California Department of Education health and safety requirements. * School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical experience in medical or private practice settings will be considered.
