Requirements and responsibilities
● Top Tier-2 Troubleshooting skills with all the technologies described
● Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance of all the technologies described
● Participate as a technical resource on projects for the technologies described
below in Santander US entities
● Precise analytical monitoring of daily FW/IPS/NAC technologies performance
and metrics
● Participate as SME in troubleshooting of service-related issues
● Support on-call teams for service-related issues and performance degradation
● Participate as SME in finding the root cause and the resolution of problems for
the technologies described below
● Work with Vendor Support for issue escalation, configuration, and planning for
service-related tasks and their execution
● Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required, such as procedures,
standards, and network schematics of all the solutions described below:
a. Firewall (Check Point + Cisco)
b. IPS (Check Point)
c. Network Access Control (NAC) technologies (CISCO ISE)
d. Cisco + Check Point Client & Site to Site VPN configuration and maintenance
e. Check Point Provider-1/MDS Experience (Upgrading, Troubleshooting &
Maintenance)
f. Check Point VSX + Cluster XL Experience (Upgrading, Troubleshooting &
Maintenance
QUALIFICATION
● Reporting skills
● Advanced experience with network security infrastructure
● Production systems administration and troubleshooting experience.
● Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
● Operational experience running a production 24x7x365 infrastructure at scale
● Experience in managing and configuring external monitoring tools (such as
Dynatrace)
● 5-10 years or more of experience in the following technologies:
a. Firewall (Check Point + Cisco)
b. IPS (Check Point)
c. Network Access Control (NAC) technologies (CISCO ISE)
d. Cisco + Check Point Client & Site to Site VPN configuration and maintenance
e. Check Point Provider-1/ MDM Experience (Upgrading, Troubleshooting &
