As a Senior Analytics Engineer - Data Engineer at Deliveroo, you will provide clean, tested, well-documented, and well-modeled data sets to enable and empower data scientists and business users. You will work with product engineering teams to ensure that the modeling of source data meets downstream requirements and maintain and develop SQL data transformation scripts. Additionally, you will be responsible for the optimization and further adoption of Looker as a data product in the business, catering to ~1500 current active users who need to discover and interact with data. Responsibilities: - Provide clean, tested, well-documented, and well-modeled data sets to enable and empower data scientists and business users - Work with product engineering teams to ensure that the modeling of source data meets downstream requirements - Maintain and develop SQL data transformation scripts - Advise and review data scientists on data modeling to achieve denormalized and aggregated output datasets - Surface clean, intuitive datasets in our BI tool, Looker - Optimize and further adopt Looker as a data product in the business, catering to ~1500 current active users who need to discover and interact with data
