ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Senior Test Engineer (data quality) in Ukraine, Poland, and Croatia.ABOUT PROJECTThe project is a web-based platform for financial advisors.The client portal allows advisors to control the user experience by enabling or disabling features and functionality for each client.REQUIREMENTS5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or similar manual testing roleExperience testing data-heavy applications, ETL pipelines, or API-driven integrationsStrong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, UAT)Experience designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test suites based on requirements and technical specificationsSolid experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, or similar)Experience with SQL for data validation and query-based verification of application behaviorAbility to perform data integrity testing across integrations and processing workflowsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to root cause analysisFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum practices and SDLCExcellent communication skills; able to clearly document and communicate defects, test results, and quality findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesHigh attention to detail and strong ownership of quality outcomesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldUpper - Intermediate level of EnglishNICE TO HAVEFamiliarity with Confluence and/or similar documentation toolsExposure to CI/CD concepts and how manual QA integrates into delivery pipelinesBasic knowledge of REST APIs and experience with tools like Postman for exploratory testingExperience working with financial systemsSelf-motivated with a collaborative mindset and a focus on continuous improvementRESPONSIBILITIESParticipate in the development, maintenance, and ownership of quality assurance procedures, work instructions, and testing processes related to data pipeline initiativesAssist in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality metrics for software and data pipeline development effortsCollaborate closely with engineering and product teams to support the delivery of high-quality, defect-free solutionsParticipate in root cause and causal analysis activities for defects and nonconformities, identifying corrective and preventive actionsDevelop and maintain procedures for capturing, investigating, documenting, and resolving product issues and customer complaintsMonitor risk management processes and maintain issue and defect logs for reporting and trend analysisSupport CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) activities related to component and process qualityInterpret, implement, and ensure compliance with company quality assurance standards and best practicesMaintain accurate documentation and records for quality assurance activities, audits, defects, and remediation effortsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesHelp define and improve testing standards, methodologies, and protocols across products and servicesParticipate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA activities throughout the software development lifecycleWHAT YOU WILL GET WITH ELEKSClose cooperation with a customerChallenging tasksCompetence developmentTeam of professionalsDynamic environment with a low level of bureaucracyWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
