We are seeking a Controls / Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC programming, SCADA development, and system integration to support our mission-critical data center infrastructure. This role focuses on developing, deploying, and maintaining industrial control systems used in high-availability environments.The ideal candidate has experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) PLCs, Ignition SCADA, and industrial networking, and is comfortable working in fast-paced, uptime-sensitive environments.Responsibilities:Develop, program, and maintain PLC control logic primarily using Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, Micro800, Studio 5000)Design and configure Ignition SCADA applications, including HMI screens, alarming, trending, and data visualizationIntegrate PLCs, SCADA systems, and third-party devices using protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet/IP, and OPC UASupport Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and other critical infrastructure systems within data centersAssist in system architecture, controls design, and network layout for industrial automation systemsParticipate in factory testing, site commissioning, and system startup activitiesDiagnose and resolve control system, SCADA, and communication issues in live environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and IT/OT engineersMaintain accurate technical documentation, including control narrativesRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field1+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or SCADA developmentExperience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming (Studio 5000 / RSLogix500)Experience developing or supporting SCADA/HMI systems, preferably IgnitionWorking knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP, OPC UA)Solid understanding of industrial networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnets, switches, VLANs)Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and P&IDsWillingness to travel for commissioning and deployment activitiesCandidate must be based in Eastern or Central time zone Preferred QualificationsExperience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or high-availability environmentsFamiliarity with EPMS systems and power monitoringExposure to redundant system architectures and failover strategiesExperience with Ignition Perspective Experience working with version control, change management, and structured deployment processesBenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceBasic Life InsuranceVoluntary Life InsuranceShort Term & Long Term DisabilityPaid VacationPaid Sick TimePaid Holidays401K with Company matchPre-Employment Requirements:All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check and drug screening, conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
