At VB Spine, you will join a high-performing team, benefit from peer and leadership mentorship, and contribute to shaping strategy in the dynamic spinal medical device industry—positioning yourself to influence growth and innovation within the organization.Role OverviewAs a Commercial Operations Specialist, you will ensure the smooth execution of orders, monitor inventory, and contribute to continuous process improvements.You will leverage available data to enhance inventory accuracy, increase efficiency, and facilitate coordination between commercial teams and headquarters.Working closely with leadership, you will contribute to policy development, support colleagues, and implement best practices to strengthen customer service excellence and overall organizational performance.The ideal candidate brings strategic expertise in commercial operations and medical device inventory management, within a fast-paced environment where organization and rigor are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral / Order ManagementManage daily order processing (entry, tracking, coordination through to invoicing)Review and handle complex or high-impact requests via CRM, email, and phoneAct as the primary and strategic link between field sales teams and internal teams setting communication standards and guiding high-impact decisionsSupport team members, contribute to policy development, and participate in ad hoc projects to enhance operational excellence and customer service qualityProvide support for various projects and ad hoc requests as neededInventory ManagementManage stock movements from order to invoicing and ensure data accuracy in CRM/ERP systemsAnalyze trends and seasonality, recommending improvements to optimize product flow and reduce costsUnderstand cross-functional workflows and propose continuous improvement actions to enhance daily organization and efficiencyMonitoring & ReportingConduct advanced analyses of performance, demand, and inventory to define KPIs, optimize resource utilization, and guide long-term allocation and growth strategiesOversee field inventory productivity across hospitals and sales representatives by setting stock thresholds per territory, anticipating needs, and maximizing inventory efficiencyWhat You Bring:University degree (Bachelor or Master)4 years of relevant experience in the customer service area (from operational functions like order management or set sourcing)Fluency in German and English (Swedish, Danish & Norwegian are nice to have)Experience working within the medtech and pharmaceutical sectors, including familiarity with industry regulations and inventory policiesExperience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, including knowledge of industry regulations and inventory management policiesProficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, CRM tools, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Power BIStrong communication and multitasking skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and build effective working relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure problems and clearly present complex analyses and insightsAbility to exercise independent judgment, manage multiple priorities, and clearly communicate complex topicsAbility to regularly lift up to 5 kg and occasionally up to 12 kgAbout VB Spine:VB Spine, LLC is a global patient-focused and innovation-driven spine company formed after the acquisition of Stryker’s U.S. spine implant business by the Viscogliosi Brothers.
