Role Overview
We are hiring a Content Systems and Video Editor to help build and operate a high-output content engine across multiple brands. This role blends video editing, content coordination, social engagement, and systems thinking.
You will work with raw footage (podcasts, short-form video, brand content) and help turn it into consistent, engaging content across platforms. Beyond editing, you will help manage social engagement, respond to comments and DMs, and actively support lead generation through thoughtful interaction.
This role requires strong judgment, confidence working with minimal instructions, and a proactive attitude toward learning new tools—especially AI-driven workflows.

This role exists to:
- Turn raw content into structured output at scale.
- Ensure social channels are active, responsive, and engaging.
- Help convert attention into conversations and leads.
- Reduce founder involvement in day-to-day content execution.
Content & Video Editing
- Edit long-form and short-form video content, including podcasts, reels, shorts, and clips.
- Select strong moments from raw footage using good judgment.
- Maintain consistent quality, pacing, and formatting across platforms.
- Organize raw footage, edits, versions, and publishing queues.
Content Systems & Coordination
- Help build and maintain repeatable workflows for content production and distribution.
- Maintain content calendars and publishing schedules.
- Support content repurposing across multiple brands and platforms.
- Proactively suggest improvements to workflows and tools.
Social Media Engagement & Lead Support
- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs across social platforms.
- Engage thoughtfully with the audience to build trust and interest.
- Identify inbound leads and route them appropriately.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice in written responses.
Tools, Automation & AI
- Use AI tools to assist with scripting, clipping, captions, ideation, and repurposing.
- Experiment with new tools for video, animation, automation, and content scaling.
- Confidently try new workflows with limited instructions and iterate quickly.
General Support (As Needed)
- Assist with light administrative or general VA tasks during slower content periods.
- Support basic organization, tracking, or coordination tasks as requested.
- Adapt to shifting priorities without friction.

- A passive editing role with detailed instructions for every task.
- A pure social media posting job.
- An influencer or personal brand role.
- A senior creative director position.

Required Skills & Tools
- Video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Short-form video formats (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).
- Social media platform familiarity (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Strong written English for comments, DMs, and captions.
- File and asset organization.
Bonus experience:
- Podcast editing workflows.
- AI tools for video, scripting, animation, or content repurposing.
- Automation tools (Zapier, Make, Notion).
- Managing content or engagement for multiple brands.
