Requirements and responsibilities


We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer/Analyst with a strong background in manual testing and the ability to support automation efforts. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, provide high-quality deliverables, and ensure software meets client requirements. Responsibilities: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs and issues. Perform thorough regression testing once defects are resolved. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product managers) to identify system requirements. Monitor debugging process results and investigate causes of non-conforming software. Track QA metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts. Train users or stakeholders on software issues or solutions when necessary. Required Technical Skills: Proven experience in software development and QA. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Appium, Cucumber. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting for data validation. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interacting with clients to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues. Preferred Working Hours: Must have overlap with US ET and CT time zones.
