Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator. Location: - Remote. - Latin America. Hours: - 32 hours/week. Compensation: - $6.5/hour. Job Summary: We are seeking a polished, professional, and highly organized Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant to support a busy Cosmetic / Plastic Surgery practice. This role is ideal for someone who can deliver a warm, high-touch patient experience while confidently managing front-office operations, patient coordination, and administrative support in a fast-paced medical setting. This is not a basic admin role. We are looking for someone who is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, responsive, and confident interacting with a high-end patient base. Responsibilities: - Answer incoming patient calls and schedule appointments. - Coordinate surgery scheduling with the OR and hospitals. - Ensure patients are properly scheduled for follow-up care. - Process insurance prior authorizations. - Complete and submit medical claim forms using provided CPT and ICD-10 details. - Assist with balance collections and discuss pricing or payment plans professionally. - Provide live scribing support and manage patient notes. - Respond quickly to urgent emails from the OR, hospital, or post-op patients. - Create and schedule social media content, including before-and-after posts. - Track and follow up on leads from ads, website inquiries, and emails. Qualifications: - Fluent in English and Spanish. - At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience. - Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. - Professional, polished, and confident demeanor. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks. - Comfortable supporting a predominantly female patient population with warmth, discretion, and professionalism. - Able to work in a fast-paced cosmetic/plastic surgery environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in medical billing, claims processing, or prior authorizations. - Background in hospitality, luxury service, or customer-facing support. - Experience using Office Ally, Google Voice, or similar systems. - Comfortable with social media coordination and lead follow-up.
