A rather unique opportunity for a seriously good IT professional in South Africa.OUTprof has been retained to identify a Senior IT Consultant for a growing UK-based Managed Service and Security Provider and Apple Premium Technical Partner.This is not your typical support role.We are looking for someone who enjoys being handed the difficult problem — the one that doesn't have an obvious answer — and taking ownership of it until it is solved.You'll work directly with sophisticated UK clients, including organisations operating in regulated sectors, solving complex technical problems and delivering projects from scoping through to implementation.It's fully remote from anywhere in South Africa.You’ll join an established and growing South African technical operation, work alongside colleagues in South Africa and London, receive a competitive CTC remuneration package, and have access to company-funded certification pathways in technologies including Jamf, Okta, Microsoft and security.The environment spans Apple/macOS and Windows, with exposure to technologies including:Jamf Pro and other MDM platformsMicrosoft Intune and Microsoft 365Okta and Microsoft Entra IDEndpoint security, hardening and vulnerability managementPython, Bash and PowerShell automationNetworking, VPNs, firewalls and Wi-FiCyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 environmentsWe're particularly interested in people who have worked in an MSP or technology consultancy environment and who combine technical depth with excellent client communication.But above all, we're looking for a particular mindset:You solve problems.
