At Humanyse, we are looking for a specialized backend/video infrastructure engineer for a remote, project-based consulting role. You will design and build a standalone, isolated Video Artifact Service for our assessment platform.Core ResponsibilitiesVideo Integration: Integrate with LiveKit to manage candidate video/audio capture, live viewer tokens, and server-side recording via LiveKit Egress.Infrastructure & Storage: Build and deploy a cleanly isolated service on GCP (Cloud Run/GKE preferred) utilizing private GCS buckets for media storage.Secure Access: Implement short-lived signed playback URLs and strict service-to-service APIs/webhooks.Extensibility: Design the architecture to seamlessly support future AI processing and anti-cheating workflows.🎯 Preferred SkillsStrong experience with LiveKit, LiveKit Egress, and WebRTC systems.Hands-on experience with GCP (Cloud Run/GKE, GCS, IAM service accounts, logging).Backend API design proficiency in Node.js, NestJS, Go, or Python.Solid understanding of private media storage, signed URLs, and privacy-conscious logging.
