Requirements and responsibilities

OVERVIEW: Design and deploy AI/ML solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform, with a strong focus on Vertex AI, GenAI architectures, and modern MLOps practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Build end-to-end ML pipelines in Vertex AI. - Implement model training, tuning, and deployment workflows. - Develop RAG pipelines (when applicable). - Integrate LLM APIs and orchestration frameworks. - Design evaluation frameworks and model validation processes. - Utilize BigQuery ML when needed. - Collaborate with Data Engineers and cross-functional teams. DELIVERABLES - Production-ready ML endpoints. - Automated feature pipelines. - Model monitoring and alerting setup. - Documented evaluation metrics and performance reports. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - 4+ years in ML/AI engineering. - Strong Python programming. - Hands-on experience with: - Vertex AI. - Model deployment & serving. - MLOps best practices. - Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (nice to have). - Experience using ADK for AI Agents (nice to have). ENGAGEMENT DETAILS - Start Date: April–May 2026. - Contract Term: 12 months (extendable). - Seniority: Mid–Senior. - Location: End-customer based in the United States. - Engagement Type: Contractor (LATAM standard model). ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - US holiday alignment preferred. - 10–15 PTO days per year. - Contractor-based engagement (no employment-style benefits). - Performance-based extension opportunities.
