Requirements and responsibilities

About Trussi Trussi is a roofing-native AI CRM and operating platform built by operators who lived the problem firsthand. We are not a generic SaaS tool repurposed for roofing — we are a purpose-built system that manages the full contractor workflow from lead acquisition through invoicing, with embedded materials ordering, measurement tools, voice AI, and communications infrastructure. The platform is live, actively deployed, and growing. We are now investing in the UI/UX layer to match the depth of the product with an interface that feels enterprise-grade, intuitive, and polished — on both web and mobile. The Role We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to own the visual and interaction design of the Trussi web app and mobile app. This is a hands-on product design role. You will work directly with our development team and product lead to design, iterate, and deliver Figma-based UI that developers can build from precisely. This is not a branding or marketing design role. The work is product interface design: screens, components, flows, and system consistency. What You Will Do Design and refine screens for the Trussi web and mobile apps in Figma Build and maintain a component library and design system that the dev team can reference and build from Deliver pixel-perfect layouts with clear specs, spacing documentation, and interaction notes Review existing UI and propose UX improvements around feature placement, information hierarchy, and user flow Collaborate closely with developers during handoff and QA to ensure designs translate accurately into production Identify friction points in the current product experience and bring forward clear, opinionated solutions What We Are Looking For Required: Strong Figma proficiency — design systems, auto-layout, components, prototyping Experience designing web app and mobile app interfaces (not just marketing sites or print) Ability to deliver clean, developer-ready handoff files with proper documentation An eye for detail and a high standard for visual consistency across screens Clear communication in English, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and take ownership without heavy direction Nice to Have: Experience designing SaaS platforms, CRMs, dashboards, or enterprise apps Familiarity with roofing, construction, or field service software Experience conducting UI audits or UX reviews on existing products Exposure to React or React Native component structures (understanding how components are built helps design them better) What to Include in Your Application We want to evaluate fit quickly, so please include the following when you apply: A portfolio link or Figma file examples showing UI/UX work — web app or mobile app screens preferred A brief note (2 to 4 sentences) on your experience with SaaS platforms, dashboards, or CRM-style interfaces Your comfort level with reviewing an existing product UI and proposing layout or UX improvements Your availability and preferred working hours (we are based in the US Central timezone)
