Key Responsibilities:
- Build, customize, and optimize WordPress websites with a focus on speed, scalability, and conversion performance.
- Develop custom themes and plugins to support business-specific workflows.
- Improve SEO performance, including page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall technical SEO.
- Design and implement landing pages, lead capture systems, and funnel experiences.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, CRMs, and automation systems.
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks affecting UX, stability, and search rankings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute growth and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain clean, scalable, well-documented codebases.
- Continuously enhance site architecture, schema markup, and technical SEO best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in WordPress-focused web development.
- Strong experience with custom WordPress themes, custom plugins, and site optimization.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress backend architecture.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO and website performance optimization.
- Strong front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Ability to diagnose and solve scaling, performance, and infrastructure issues.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Familiarity with Azure or similar cloud hosting environments.
- Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, or custom API workflows.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
- Python scripting experience.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
