What we are looking for and main duties: We are looking to bring on board inquisitive and creative engineers who are passionate about systems, data flows, and beautiful solutions. As a junior data engineer we don't expect you to be the finished article, but we hope that we can help you grow and learn, building on your foundational knowledge. You may have worked previously in an engineering job working with databases and web requests in Python or NodeJS, but now you are looking for a more data-driven role. You'll join the data team and work closely with them and the Backend team to collect, process, and make available terabytes of data. You'll be able to learn new technologies used in building production-grade cloud data pipelines, data stores that allow sub-second latency and scalability, and how to build and maintain a production-ready infrastructure.
