The role involves executing consumer marketing initiatives for Hachette Nashville imprints, working alongside other marketing team members, and reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of marketing experience with a strong digital focus, a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, and experience in executing paid social media campaigns, search engine optimization, lead generation, and email marketing. Strong interpersonal skills, data management and tracking skills, and knowledge of video and picture editing software are also required. The compensation range for this position is $55,000-$60,000, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and more. Responsibilities: - Build and implement marketing programs and strategies to deliver on sales expectations and achieve overall marketing objectives - Execute print, web, search engine, email, social media, and display advertising for assigned titles - Liaise with the publicity team to amplify publicity coverage achieved for assigned titles - Develop and curate branded content, including SEO-optimized websites, eNewsletters, blog posts, shareable graphics, downloadable resources, and videos for assigned titles - Compile reports to track and evaluate marketing and advertising campaign results and share with management on goals (ROI and KPI’s) - Coordinate influencer marketing initiatives, working with authors, agents, and team resources to identify, secure, and implement influencer strategies for assigned titles - Communicate directly with authors, agents, and editorial team to present, refine, and execute marketing plans that build author brands and sell books - Analyze key metrics to tweak strategies as needed and monitor effective benchmarks - Assist senior marketing director in coordinating campaigns to grow all Hachette Nashville social media platforms and eNewsletter subscribers - Organize annual seasonal promotions in coordination with the company e-commerce team - Lead and participate in internal meetings, as well as meetings with authors, agents, and sales - Assist in the acquisitions process by analyzing and reporting on the marketability of potential projects and author platforms - Create presentations (i.e. PowerPoint, Canva, etc.) for acquisitions and author/agent marketing meetings - Perform market research to assess team readiness and keep the team up to date on new platforms and marketing methods
