The company already partners with over 10 enterprise clients and continues to expand rapidly. Their stack combines Node.js, TypeScript, Langchain, PostgreSQL/pgvector, and Svelte, powered by LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, and others) to deliver scalable, intelligent automation solutions.
About the Role
They are looking for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to join their core engineering team and help shape the future of their AI platform.
You will work directly with the CTO, co-founders, and senior developers to design and deploy AI-driven backend systems. The position is primarily backend-focused, with occasional involvement in the AI-assisted Svelte frontend.

What We’re Looking For
* 7+ years of professional web development experience
* 5+ years working with TypeScript in production environments
* Languages & Frameworks: Expert-level TypeScript, strong experience with Hono framework or similar API framework
* Demonstrated experience building with or on top of LLM APIs
* Database: Production experience with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM
* Full-Stack Development: Proven ability to build and ship complete web applications
* LLM Integration: Hands-on experience working with and coding alongside LLMs (Claude, GPT, etc.)
* Experience in fast-paced startup environments
* Availability to work during PST hours
* API Design: RESTful API design and implementation experience
Bonus Skills
* Experience with prompt engineering and LLM application patterns
* Knowledge of vector databases (PGVector) and semantic search implementations
* Familiarity with streaming responses and real-time data handling
* Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks (Svelte, Vue)
* Understanding of AI safety and responsible AI practices
* Background in rapid prototyping and iterative development
What You’ll Do
* Design and develop full-stack web applications that integrate LLM capabilities into production systems through API
* Build robust, scalable APIs and services using modern Node.js + TypeScript frameworks
* Architect database schemas and optimize query performance for complex data workflows
* Collaborate with product and AI teams to translate LLM capabilities into user-facing features
* Write clean, maintainable code using AI-assisted development tools and practices
* Implement best practices for prompt engineering and LLM integration patterns
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
* Ship high-quality code quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
