Requirements and responsibilities


- Communicate with other departments and outside of the organization to improve the processes. - Gather data on each step within the supply chain, research and implement new methods that simplify processes in the logistic supply chain, eliminating waste and generating value for the logistic chain. - Support the Logistics department in the execution of international logistics, and follow up on the transportation process to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments within the contracted delivery period and in accordance with current customs legislation. - Responding to department inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels. - Keep track and respond to travel and purchasing requests. - Control advances on purchase orders, shipping documents and eventual payments to international suppliers and their respective accountability, through the available systems. - Monitor and collect data on current operations, including scheduling, sourcing, warehousing, production, and delivery. Requirements This job might be the right one for you if: - Have a bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field. - Have quantitative analysis expertise. - Analytical background: you can mold and understand data to drive action and results. - Excellent communication skills. - Experience working closely with a rapid growth environment. - Monitor cargo movement processes. - Fluent English speaker and writer. - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel You might have also had: Spanish language skills (we are a Latin American start-up!). Demonstrated interest in logistics and supply chain or on-demand services. INCOTERMS experience. Good communication skills. Change management. Experience starting or scaling a successful startup. Strong technology skills Teleworker based in Medellin (not limited)
